“You” or “your” means any person or entity accessing or using the Website.
By accessing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms. Where legally valid, your continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the Website.

2Disclaimer
The information on this Website is provided for general informational and business purposes only.
Although we make reasonable efforts to keep the Website accurate and current, HVT makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, availability or timeliness of the Website or its content, except where such representation or warranty is expressly provided in a written agreement or cannot lawfully be excluded.
Your reliance on information available through the Website is at your own discretion and risk.
Descriptions of services, team roles, candidate profiles, skills, experience, turnaround times, delivery models, pricing, sample rates, cost savings and business results are illustrative unless expressly confirmed in a written agreement accepted by the relevant parties. They do not constitute a binding offer, guarantee or commitment.
Any engagement with HVT will be governed by a separate written proposal, service agreement, statement of work or other agreement duly accepted by the relevant parties. If the Website conflicts with an applicable signed agreement, that agreement will prevail to the extent of the conflict.
Testimonials, case studies, client examples and performance results published on the Website are provided for illustrative purposes. Actual results may vary depending on the client’s requirements, workforce availability, operating procedures, technology, management, cooperation and other circumstances.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any representation, warranty, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
3Our Services and Engagements
3.1Website inquiries
Submitting an inquiry, requesting a quotation, booking a consultation, uploading a document or contacting HVT through the Website does not, by itself, create a client relationship, service contract, employment relationship, agency, partnership or joint venture.
HVT may review, respond to, decline or request additional information regarding an inquiry at its discretion, subject to applicable law.
3.2Service agreements
Outsourcing, virtual team, recruitment, staffing and related services are provided subject to the applicable written agreement.
Depending on the engagement, such agreement may specify:
- Scope of services and deliverables.
- Fees, billing arrangements, payment terms and applicable taxes.
- Service levels, operating hours and reporting requirements.
- Confidentiality and intellectual property.
- Data protection and information security.
- Responsibilities of HVT, the client and relevant personnel.
- Recruitment, selection, onboarding and replacement procedures.
- Term, renewal, suspension and termination.
- Liability, indemnities and dispute resolution.
No service description on the Website overrides an applicable written agreement.
3.3Employment and contracting relationships
The nature of any employment, independent contracting, outsourcing or service relationship arising from an engagement facilitated by HVT will be determined by the applicable written agreement, the actual circumstances of the engagement and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive, exclude or limit any statutory employment rights or obligations.
The parties’ respective responsibilities concerning recruitment, hiring, supervision, compensation, benefits, statutory contributions, taxes, workplace policies, equipment and other employment or contracting matters will be established by the applicable agreement and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, partnership or joint venture relationship between a Website visitor and HVT merely because the visitor accesses the Website.
3.4Applicants and prospective team members
Individuals may submit applications, résumés, CVs or other information through the Website or through other authorized recruitment channels.
Applications are subject to review, eligibility requirements, role availability and the applicable recruitment process. Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview, job offer, placement, engagement or employment.
Applicant information will be processed in accordance with the applicable Privacy Notice and relevant law.
3.5Pricing, quotations and taxes
Any prices, rates, estimates, cost savings or commercial examples displayed on the Website are indicative only unless expressly confirmed in a written agreement.
Actual fees may vary according to role requirements, experience, staffing volume, service scope, work schedule, location, technology requirements and other commercial considerations.
Applicable taxes, including value-added tax (VAT) and withholding taxes where relevant, will be addressed in the applicable quotation, invoice or agreement.
4Acceptable Use of the Website
You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.
You must not:
- Submit false, misleading, fraudulent or materially incomplete information, or impersonate another person or organization.
- Attempt to obtain unauthorized access to the Website, its servers, systems, databases, accounts or related infrastructure.
- Introduce malware, malicious code or other harmful components, or interfere with the Website’s operation, availability or security.
- Conduct denial-of-service attacks, unauthorized vulnerability testing or other activities that compromise the Website or its users.
- Scrape, harvest, copy or systematically collect Website data, personal information or content through automated means without prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.
- Use the Website to distribute spam, unlawful solicitations, defamatory material, harassment, obscene content or material that infringes another person’s rights.
- Copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, republish, sell or commercially exploit Website content except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
- Use the Website in a manner that infringes intellectual property rights, privacy rights, confidentiality obligations or other legal rights.
- Circumvent access controls, security measures or restrictions implemented to protect the Website.
These restrictions are intended to protect the Website and its users and do not prohibit activities that cannot lawfully be restricted.
HVT may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary and lawful. HVT may report suspected unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities where warranted.
5Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Website and its content, including text, graphics, photographs, designs, layouts, logos, trademarks, service descriptions, documents, downloadable files and the Hire Virtual Team name, are owned by HVT or its licensors and are protected by the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines, Republic Act No. 8293, as amended, and other applicable laws.
Nothing on the Website grants you ownership of HVT’s intellectual property.
You may view the Website and print or download a reasonable amount of content for your own personal, non-commercial reference, provided that you do not remove proprietary notices or otherwise infringe our rights.
Without prior written permission, you may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, republish, sell, commercially exploit or create derivative works from Website content, except where expressly permitted by applicable law.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
5.1Content submitted by users
You retain ownership of content you lawfully own and submit through the Website, subject to any separate agreement.
By submitting content, you authorize HVT to use, reproduce, store and process that content to the extent reasonably necessary to receive and respond to your submission, operate the Website, evaluate an inquiry, provide requested services, comply with legal obligations and protect legitimate business interests, subject to applicable privacy and intellectual property laws.
You confirm that you have the necessary rights and authority to submit the content and grant any permissions required for these purposes.
HVT will not publish your feedback, name, image, business identity or testimonial as an endorsement without obtaining the necessary authorization or consent, where required by law.
6Privacy, Personal Data and Cookies
HVT respects privacy and processes personal data in accordance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, Republic Act No. 10173, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, applicable issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC), and other applicable privacy laws.
6.1Privacy Notice
Our Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, retain and protect personal data, including information submitted by clients, prospective clients, applicants, employees, contractors and Website visitors.
It also explains the applicable legal bases for processing, relevant recipients, retention practices, international transfers where applicable, and the rights of data subjects.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, these rights may include the rights to be informed, access personal data, correct inaccuracies, object to certain processing, request erasure or blocking where legally available, data portability, seek damages where warranted and lodge a complaint with the NPC.
The exercise of these rights is subject to applicable legal conditions and exceptions.
Our Privacy Notice forms part of the Website’s privacy framework and should be read together with these Terms.
6.2Cookies and similar technologies
The Website may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, security, preferences, analytics and marketing.
Where required by law, non-essential cookies or similar technologies will be activated only after the required consent has been obtained.
You may manage your preferences through the Website’s cookie settings, where available, or through your browser. Disabling certain cookies may affect Website functionality.
Further information is provided in our Cookie Policy.
6.3Consent and other legal bases
Where consent is the applicable legal basis for processing personal data, HVT will seek consent in an appropriate manner and provide information about how it may be withdrawn.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. HVT may continue processing where another lawful basis applies.
6.4International processing and disclosures
HVT may engage service providers, recruitment partners, technology providers and other authorized recipients to support its operations, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.
Where personal data is transferred internationally, HVT will assess and implement the safeguards required by applicable law.
Where HVT processes personal data subject to additional foreign privacy laws, including those applicable in relevant jurisdictions, the applicable legal requirements will also be considered.
6.5Security and retention
HVT will implement reasonable and appropriate organizational, physical and technical measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss or destruction, consistent with applicable legal obligations.
No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Personal data will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the disclosed purposes, applicable contractual requirements, legitimate business needs and legal or regulatory obligations, subject to applicable law.
6.6Sensitive and confidential information
Please do not submit sensitive personal information, government identification numbers, bank or payment card details, health information, passwords, authentication credentials, confidential client records or other highly sensitive information through general Website forms or ordinary email unless HVT specifically requests it through an appropriate secure channel.
6.7Data Protection Officer and privacy inquiries
Questions, requests or complaints relating to personal data may be directed to HVT through the contact details provided in Section 15, marked “Attention: Data Protection Officer”.
HVT will review and respond to requests in accordance with applicable law.
7Third-Party Links and Services
The Website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, tools, software or services that HVT does not own or control.
These links are provided for convenience or informational purposes and do not necessarily constitute an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee by HVT.
HVT is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, privacy practices, terms of use or the quality or accuracy of third-party products and services, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
Your use of third-party websites or services is subject to their own applicable terms, privacy policies and other conditions.
You should review those documents before submitting personal information, making payments or engaging with third-party services.
8Website Availability and Security
HVT makes reasonable efforts to maintain the availability, functionality and security of the Website.
However, HVT does not guarantee that the Website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, continuously available or free from every virus, vulnerability or harmful component.
The Website may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, technical issues, internet or power disruptions, third-party service interruptions, cybersecurity incidents or other circumstances.
Where reasonably practicable, HVT may take steps to restore service or mitigate disruptions.
Nothing in this Section excludes responsibility for matters where exclusion would be unlawful.
Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate security measures on their own devices, using suitable software and protecting their account credentials where applicable.
9Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Philippine law, HVT will not be liable for loss or damage arising solely from your access to, use of or inability to use the Website, or your reliance on its general informational content, except where such liability arises from a breach of an applicable obligation or cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to applicable law, HVT will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from Website use, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, anticipated savings or data, where such losses are legally excludable.
You are responsible for evaluating whether information obtained through the Website is suitable for your requirements and for independently verifying information where appropriate.
HVT does not guarantee that Website information, service descriptions, sample rates or indicative performance figures will meet your particular commercial objectives.
9.1Separate service agreements
This Section concerns the Website and its general informational content only.
Liability arising from outsourcing, virtual team, recruitment or other services provided under a separate written agreement will be governed by that agreement and applicable law.
Any monetary cap, exclusion of damages, indemnity or allocation of risk applicable to a service engagement must be assessed under the relevant agreement. This Section does not independently establish a monetary cap for service-related claims.
9.2Non-excludable liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, bad faith or other conduct to the extent such liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived under the Consumer Act of the Philippines, Republic Act No. 7394, where applicable, or other mandatory consumer protection, privacy, employment or commercial laws.
10Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless HVT Global Solutions OPC and its directors, officers, employees and authorized representatives against third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages and reasonable legal expenses to the extent arising from:
- Your material violation of these Terms.
- Your unlawful use of the Website.
- Your infringement of a third party’s intellectual property, privacy or other legal rights.
- Information or materials you submit that you are not legally authorized to provide.
- Your fraudulent or unlawful conduct in connection with the Website.
This indemnity applies only to the extent the relevant claim or loss is attributable to the conduct described above.
It does not require you to indemnify HVT for losses caused by HVT’s own conduct to the extent prohibited by applicable law, nor does it exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Any indemnity relating to services supplied under a separate service agreement will be governed by that agreement.
11Electronic Communications and Transactions
You agree that HVT may communicate with you electronically, including through email, Website forms and other electronic communication channels you provide or authorize.
Subject to applicable law, electronic communications, records, documents and signatures may have legal effect in accordance with the Electronic Commerce Act of 2000, Republic Act No. 8792, applicable rules on electronic evidence and other relevant laws.
Where a transaction requires a particular form of signature, acceptance, authorization or record, the parties must comply with the applicable legal requirements.
Submitting an inquiry or receiving an automated acknowledgment does not, by itself, constitute acceptance of a commercial proposal or formation of a service agreement.
You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and maintaining access to the communication channels used for relevant transactions.
12Changes to These Terms
HVT may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in applicable law, business operations, Website functionality, security requirements or other relevant circumstances.
The revised Terms will be published on the Website with an updated revision date and, where appropriate, an effective date.
HVT will provide reasonable notice of material changes where appropriate.
Where applicable law requires express acceptance of a change, continued use of the Website alone will not substitute for that acceptance.
Changes to these Terms will not retroactively amend a signed service agreement or override the amendment requirements of that agreement.
Your continued use of the Website after revised Terms become effective may constitute acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If you do not agree with a revision, you should discontinue using the Website.
13Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, subject to any mandatory law that applies notwithstanding this choice of law.
If a dispute arises concerning these Terms or the Website, the parties will first attempt to resolve it in good faith through discussion.
If the dispute cannot be resolved through reasonable discussion, it may be submitted to the proper courts of the Philippines, subject to applicable jurisdictional rules and any valid dispute-resolution agreement between the parties.
Where a separate written agreement provides for arbitration, mediation or another dispute-resolution procedure, that agreement will govern the relevant dispute to the extent applicable and legally enforceable.
Nothing in this Section prevents a party from seeking urgent interim or injunctive relief where legally available.
The enforceability of any exclusive venue provision, particularly in cross-border transactions, remains subject to applicable law.
14General Provisions
14.1Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, it will be limited or modified to the minimum extent necessary where legally permissible. If it cannot be modified, it will be severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
14.2No waiver
Failure or delay by HVT in exercising a right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
Any waiver must be assessed in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances in which it is given.
14.3Entire agreement concerning Website use
These Terms, together with the applicable Privacy Notice, Cookie Policy and any other Website-specific terms expressly incorporated by reference, govern your use of the Website.
They do not replace or override any separately signed service agreement, statement of work, data-processing agreement or other commercial agreement governing services supplied by HVT.
14.4Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without HVT’s prior written consent, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
HVT may assign or transfer its rights and obligations in connection with a lawful corporate reorganization, merger, restructuring or sale of the relevant business or assets, subject to applicable law and any required contractual or regulatory conditions.
14.5No partnership or agency
Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship between HVT and a Website visitor.
Any such relationship must be assessed according to the actual circumstances and applicable law.
14.6No third-party rights
Except where expressly provided by applicable law or a separate written agreement, these Terms do not confer contractual rights on third parties.
14.7Headings
Section headings are included for convenience and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
14.8Survival
Provisions that by their nature are intended to continue after the cessation of Website use will survive to the extent necessary and legally permissible, including provisions relating to intellectual property, liability, indemnity, governing law and dispute resolution.
